Cable Internet
Cable internet uses the same connection as cable TV to deliver high speed internet access. You do not have to be an existing cable customer nor do you have to subscribe to TV service.

Equipment
City Cable requires all customers to use a specific cable modem that best fits their digital network. They will provide the modem for a $5 per month charge on your Municipal Utilities/City Cable bill. This charge is in addition to your monthly access fee. You will need an Ethernet connection on your computer or a USB port which will connect your computer to the cable modem.
Speeds
All pricing plans offer fast, low latency, internet access. Actual speed depends on pricing plan; we offer plans starting at 1 megabit, and going up to a 5 megabit connection.
Requirements
You must be in the Poplar Bluff area and have access to City Cable. Sorry, BoyCom serviced areas are not eligible. Please note that some areas are covered by both providers.
